Jen Moffitt, DTCM, L.Ac., CPRCS: Dr. Jennifer Moffitt, L.Ac.has been researching integrative medicine and intuitive energy styles of healing for over 30 years. Formerly a research scientist at UC Davis, she blends both eastern and western medicine in a way that supports the body, mind, and spirit in her patients. Her training encompasses many forms of integrative medicine, developmental neuropsychology and oriental medicine for the treatment of advanced neurological issues and trauma. After 18 years as Clinic Director, serving tens of thousands of patients in the greater San Diego area, she downsized her busy practice with three associates in 2019. A catastrophic diagnosis at the beginning of COVID became the basis of both her own recovery and her doctoral work. Polyvagal Acupuncture was borne out of deep trauma, both emotional and neurological. These techniques were immediately successful in treating exhausted medical providers on the frontlines. Combining her acupuncture style with polyvagal theory and clinical neuroscience provides new information and treatment for the integrative treatment of childhood developmental trauma, abuse, and demyelinating diseases like MS and Parkinson's.
